CyclePilot
Weather, calendar, training —
CyclePilot brings them together.
You set your goal and preferred conditions, and CyclePilot plans your rides around the best weather, blocks time windows in your calendar and adjusts them to the forecast every morning. You ride, the organising runs in the background.
Ready in three steps
Set your goal
Tell CyclePilot what you're working toward – your first 100 km ride, a race, or simply more weekly kilometres. That's all it takes to start.
Choose your conditions
Set your preferred values for chance of rain, wind and temperature. Optionally, bring your own routes from GPX, Strava or Apple Health.
CyclePilot plans & adapts
The app blocks suitable time windows in your calendar and replans around the weather every morning when needed.
What CyclePilot handles for you
Weather always in view
You set your preferred conditions for chance of rain, wind speed and temperature. Based on those, your training is planned and saved straight into your calendar. CyclePilot keeps an eye on the weather every day and replans when needed.
Ready for your goal
Set your goal, whether it's your first 100 km ride or your next race. CyclePilot builds your weekly volume step by step – forward from today or backward to a target date. Bring your own routes as GPX if you like; their length flows straight into the plan.
Respects your calendar
CyclePilot checks your calendar and schedules training only in free time windows. Existing appointments stay untouched; your plan arranges itself around them.
Balances your week
If a ride runs long or one drops out, CyclePilot redistributes the rest of the week. You stay in your target range without doing the maths yourself.
Indoor when the weather blocks
When rain, wind or storms make a day unrideable, CyclePilot can schedule an indoor trainer session. Your weekly goal stays within reach, whatever the forecast.
Form & progress
CyclePilot tracks your form through fitness, fatigue and freshness (CTL, ATL, TSB) and the Efficiency Factor. Volume, distance and elevation sit right beside them as charts. So you can see whether you're on track or need to recover.
Strava & Apple Health
Completed rides are imported automatically through the Strava and Apple Health interfaces, optional and tailored to your needs. Alternatively, you can add your training manually from any other source.
Maintenance in check
Add your bikes and components, and CyclePilot reminds you when maintenance is due – waxing the chain, charging your electronic groupset, on your own schedule. So your bike is ready when you are.
Plan, rides and form at a glance.
Why CyclePilot
I built CyclePilot because I was tired of reconciling the weather app, my calendar and my training plan by hand every morning. I wanted a tool that takes over that coordination, so there's more time left for riding. That's exactly what CyclePilot does. The app came about when I got back into cycling after a longer break. I wanted to do it properly and raised my performance step by step. For me, it's the best combination of health and fun on the bike. I'd like to pass that positive experience on: to beginners, returners and ambitious riders.
